Patti K: Terrific place, beautiful flowers - great service! :)
Patti K: Terrific and fast service, thank you! :) Just what we ordered!
Patti K: I ordered an arrangement of flowers over the telephone for my Uncle Joes funeral, not sure that I would be able to attend the funeral. I ordered red, white and blue flowers. I ended up going to the funeral and was horrified by the display of flowers that Gaertners made. The flowers were red, white and PURPLE. The flowers were supposed to be patriotic; this I did notify the flower shop of... however, they said, \"there are no natural blue flowers\" - well, instead of telling me that in the first place, they went on their own and used purple flowers without contacting me. My uncle served in the Korean War; this was the entire point of the display I ordered. The worse part was, when I talked to the lady who made the flower arrangement (to complain) - she could not understand I was not satisfied. I explained to her that my husband was also deployed to Iraq and that we have many military men in our family. I wanted red, white and blue flowes. I was very saddened to see that Gartners did not understand at all why I was so upset about the flowers. Also, I want to point out that I spent quite a bit on that flower arrangement! The other flowers at the funeral were all fall themed... I spent the money so that the flowers would stick out to show our families patriotic pride. The flowers sure stuck out though - with the red/white and PURPLE flowers. We had to hide the flowers in a corner so they would not stick out so badly. The majority of the flowers were bright purple with red and white. It reminded me of the red hat ladies. Do you know what Gaertners did next? They gave me a partial refund, admitting their mistake but not paying for it 100%. Sickening! I will NEVER order from Gaertneres again.
Patti Katter: I see that the comment I wrote is gone from before. I\'d like to warn you about the sad experience I had with Gaertners. I spent $200 on flowers that were supposed to be patriotic. They didnt think I would be at the funeral, so I think thats the reason they didnt take time to call. The flowers were PURPLE, red and white. Mind you, this was a fall funeral. The flowers stuck out like a sore thumb. I ended up going to the funeral, and when I looked at the flowers - I was SO embarrassed. All of the other flowers were fall themed. Ours were supposed to be different, PATRIOTIC. Upon calling to complain, they informed me they didnt have BLUE flowers. Well, WHY didnt they tell me this when I ordered the flowers!? I think they were just in it for the \"buck\" $. I will NEVER order flowers again from them. To add to insult - they only refunded 1/2 of the money saying they admitted to making the mistake - but, I still had flowers show up at the funeral home so they wouldnt give us a whole refund. The flowers were supposed to be patriotic because our great uncle who passed away was in the Korean war - and my husband was in Iraq serving our country. Purple, red and white flowers remind me of the red hat ladies - NOT - our American colors. We had to stick the flowers in a corner. HOW SAD!
